Creative Recipes for Monster Parties
Great Halloween Party Food Ideas!
Little Monsters Cookbook has a variety of recipes, from tried-and-true favorites with funky monster names (Werewolf Skins are just regular old potato skins) to twists that make an old recipe monster-worthy (the Mummy Bites are pigs-in-blankets, with the biscuit cut in strips to simulate mummy wrappings, with mustard eyes) to brand-new concoctions just for the monsterly theme of the cookbook (Wolfsbane Elixir is a great new recipe like nothing I've seen before - and looks delicious!).
A standard introduction covers safety tips ("Your blood is a very precious thing. Just ask Dracula. To preserve all of that great red stuff it is important to follow safety rules while in the kitchen.") and very brief how-tos (measuring dry ingredients, keeping clean, etc). There is no index, but the book is short and the one-page contents doubles as an index.
