Education's "Great Teachers" Neighborhood Squid Angel
I'm Tandemonimom, and I'm the Squid Angel for the "Education: Great Teachers" Neighborhood!
I'm Tandemonimom - welcome to my Angel lens! Let me introduce myself. In my personal life, I am a stay-at-home mom, married 25 years, with four beautiful children (age 7 to 15) whom I homeschool. I also have a degree in elementary education.
My Squidoo persona has been creating lenses with Squidoo since July 2008; as you might imagine, I make a lot of lenses on homeschooling, parenting, and similar topics. I was granted Giant Squid status in April 2009 and published my 100th lens in September 2009. As of February 2011, I have published over 150 lenses and have received one Lens of the Day award, 18 Purple Star awards, and countless blessings from the many lovely Squid Angels floating about. I also have added two more Squidoo accounts for niche sales lenses.

How to Get a Tandemonimom Blessing
What I look for in blessing a lens:
FOLLOW THE T.O.S.
The Squidoo Terms of Service are there for a reason. They are the rules. Follow them! No plagiarism. No spam. I will ding for that!
BE CREATIVE
Do it differently! What can you do that no one else can do? What can you think of or create that no one has done before? Show me how creative you are and I'll bless you!
BE USEFUL
I love learning new things. If you can teach me something, or show me a better way, or introduce me to a concept I never thought of before, I will appreciate it.
BE BEAUTIFUL
A thing of beauty is a joy forever. Use lovely images and place them thoughtfully to counterpoint your text. Stop and look it over again to see how they meld.
BE FUNNY
I'm a sucker for a lens that can really make me laugh!
BE THOROUGH
Please! Add an intro picture for the lens, and add your bio and bio photo. Change the default module titles and don't leave empty modules. Guestbooks are always a nice touch!
FLOW
One thing follows another. Don't give me a headache by jumping from one topic or concept to another. Flow with it.
AND USE SPELL-CHECK!
You probably ought to know that I am a proofreader and editor by trade. So you may be sorry to hear that I will really notice your typos and grammatical errors - I can't help seeing them! But remain calm ... I assure you I understand (and even sometimes commit!) the occasional typographical error, and that won't stop me from blessing. However, though I won't ding you for it, it will be very difficult to get a blessing from me if your lens is full of misspellings, grammatical errors, and poor punctuation.
Blow me away! I know you can do it!
